Avec plaisir!
My mind drifts to different personal projects in sync with the seasons as each has themes that align with the four seasons but right now my primary focus is my Summer duology:
Liqueur et Fleurs (Liquor and flowers) is an achingly tender summer graphic novel about change and facing one’s fear of it. Navigating young adulthood is full of nerve-wracking decisions, and this narrative offers the gentle reminder that taking the first step, even while afraid, can make all the difference.
On the side of road in the blistering summer heat, three searching hearts collide, setting them on a journey to face their fears, embrace their passions, and accept that they are worthy of love just as they are.
Stage:
Cleaning Thumbnails and Drawing Lineart!
thé et croissants (tea and croissants) will be a warm cozy graphic novel centered on two jaded and burnt out young adults who have nothing in common beyond the fact that they both want to run a cafe and are convinced that they, like fire and ice, can’t get along.
As they weather the bumpy ride of being small business owners in The big apple, they learn that companionship and romance aren’t a one size fits all and just because things look and feel a little different for them doesn’t make it any less special.
Stage:
Plot writing!
